Happy is The Painful Highway

If your first reaction to disappointment is pain, you will tend to turn to “temporary relief” of pain rather than healing your disappointment.

• Sex is temporary (outside of marriage), that’s why you feel empty, unfulfilled & the constant "need" for more. The “waves of desire” tend to become stronger as the undisciplined impulse grows. Not understanding that each encounter (mind/physical) is leading you further and further away from the Holy presence of God. Which is the actual relief and embrace you’re longing for (what starts as a small thing will grow if you feed it).

• Drugs are temporary, which opens the door to deception through impaired vision (thinking). That’s why you may “feel better” or “relief” but you make choices form impaired vision, usually from the maturity level of the root of your trauma (disappointment) which tends to result in regret, shame and condemnation (none of those things are from God). Developing a “structure” in your mind of self-defeat and “surviving through existence” until the next drink, drug, or encounter, then I’ll “feel better” (lie).

So you hate the "existence" in life until the substance (drug/sex) is encountered.

Many examples we could list. These are two major categories that are breaking down strong & broken hearts, of men and women in our world today.

All of this unwillingness to face “why we do what we do” is rooted in fear.

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of POWER, and of LOVE, and of a SOUND MIND.” 2 Timothy 1:7 KJV

The unwillingness to face the secret places in our hearts (actual problem), which make up the internal you, and the voice you listen to, will destroy your growth, and contaminate the soul of your heart. Hindering you from encountering full freedom and true identity we hold in Christ!

The enemy wants to keep you from the truth of who you are, who God created you to be, and the Spirit (seed) that lives in you!

“And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32 NLT

Strengthened Pain

Facing fear is facing the internal conversation of you. Leaning into pain, will result in a stronger, freeing, healed you!

“Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing.” James 1:2-4 AMP

No matter what you think, you are not alone.

God is waiting for you to shine light on your secrets. How long will you wait. How much weight will you try to carry. “Fake it till you make it” doesn’t work with God.

You have the Victory! Receive it 💔❤️‍🩹🤍

“For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” 1 John 5:4 ESV
