STORY OF SURVIVAL

The thought that Sunday, October 1, 2017 would be my last day on earth never crossed my mind. I am grateful God spared my life and how that night has impacted my heart.

When I looked down at my hands, covered in another mans blood, I was consumed with peace from within that I had never felt before. I began to look around at the traumatic chaos I had just survived and saw beauty that couldn’t be described. No one was worried about where their phones were, how much money you made, what color your skin was or where you came from. The only focus was survival and doing all you could to help the person next to you. Strangers helping strangers. Strangers putting others lives in front of their own. That was the beauty. We were part of something beautiful that united us. We were all united through the effort of survival.

There is an urgency in our world that needs a call to “wake up!” With many of our young adults searching for identity and acceptance through online platforms, while grown adults struggle to find “peace” and hope in the day-to-day. We all seem to be “on our own” when it comes to life’s most challenging moments.

Through the efforts of Rich Forever Young, we have stepped forward to help lift the cloud of confusion and bring awareness to the truth. Inspired by, and rooted in, the Word of God.
